Welcome to the FDMC Old Boys Foundation. The College is hopeful that our refreshed website and register with added digital capability will enable past students of the College to keep in contact with their classmates, making events and reunions much easier to organise. We also aim to make the Foundation more prominent within the College community, growing its presence and impact.
Founded in 2011, the Francis Douglas College Old Boys Foundation was established to provide an enduring bond between the College and its alumni. The Foundation members represent the interest of all Old Boys. Its key objectives are to:
We aim to provide a database that is easy to follow and that by asking you to give permission to publish your contact details we have covered the conditions of present privacy legislation controlling the release of such information.
The Foundation plans to organise events and reunions for various groups of Old Boys. The major stumbling block has always been the lack of up-to-date contact addresses. Please send an email to Martin Dravitzki – oldboys@fdmc.school.nz to register on our contact list.
The Foundation website will also act as a place for College and its alumni to access latest news and information pertaining to the College.
The College has a fine name and reputation in Taranaki and in New Zealand. It is testament to the dedication and service of the Brothers, the teachers, the students and their parents and friends. We hope that this initiative will improve the Association.
Yours sincerely,
Tim Stuck
Principal
