The FDMC Legacy Ball was an incredible success, bringing together a large number of old boys who had not seen each other in years, and showcasing the strength of the College community. This special event was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect and celebrate shared experiences, all made possible thanks to the generous support from the wider College family.
A huge thank you goes to Marnie Johnston-Saywell, Donna Yeats, Rachel Williams, Kyle Greenlees, Scott Ireland, and Conrad Smith for their dedicated efforts in organising the ball. Their work ensured an outstanding evening filled with camaraderie and nostalgia, raising $115,000.00 for the Gym/Auditorium project.
The event was made even more special by the presence of Oldboys Paddy Gower and Beauden Barrett, who took on the roles of MC and guest speaker. Their contributions added a personal and authentic touch to the evening, with attendees enjoying speeches, entertainment, and the chance to reconnect.
The FDMC Legacy Ball was not just a night to remember, but a true reflection of the enduring bonds within the College community. The success of the event is a testament to the strong ties that unite the College’s past and present.
